How to Write a Strong Internship Application
Most students send the same generic application to every company. A tailored application almost always outperforms a mass-blast.
The cover letter (or application note) should be specific to the company. Mention one thing about the company that genuinely interests you, explain what you can bring based on your skills or projects, and end with a clear ask. Keep it under 200 words.
Your resume should be customized for each role. If the internship is for a content writing role, your resume should lead with writing samples and content-related projects. If it is a data analysis role, lead with your math, Excel, or Python experience.
