Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 2nd June, 2026

Overview

TalentGro Global Private Limited (“TalentGro”) is committed to fair and transparent refund practices in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and applicable RBI guidelines for merchants.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made on talentgroglobal.com and app.talentgroglobal.com, including online courses, internship programmes, vocational training, career counselling sessions, and certification programmes.

Please read this Policy carefully before making any purchase. By completing a payment, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Policy.

Online Courses and Training Programmes

Refund Window

  • Full Refund (100%) — Requested within 7 days of purchase AND before accessing more than 20% of the course content. No questions asked.
  • Partial Refund (50%) — Requested within 8–15 days of purchase AND you have accessed less than 40% of the course content.
  • No Refund — After 15 days from the date of purchase, or once more than 40% of the course content has been accessed, or after a completion certificate has been downloaded.

Exceptions — No Refund Applies If:

  • The course was purchased during a limited-time promotional or discounted offer.
  • You have already downloaded, exported, or received course completion credentials.
  • A course was purchased as part of a combo or bundled offer — refund will be calculated proportionally.

Internship Programmes

Registration Fee (if applicable)

  • If the internship has not yet commenced and you cancel at least 7 days before the programme start date: full refund less a ₹200 processing fee.
  • If you cancel within 7 days of the programme start date but before Day 1: 50% refund.
  • If the internship has commenced (Day 1 or later): no refund.

After Offer Letter Issuance — Once an internship offer letter has been issued, the registration fee becomes non-refundable.

TalentGro-Initiated Cancellation — If TalentGro cancels an internship batch due to insufficient enrollment or operational reasons, a full refund is issued without deductions.

Career Counselling Sessions

Single Sessions

  • Cancellation with 24+ hours notice before the scheduled session: full credit applied to rescheduling (no cash refund). Cash refund available if requested within 7 days of booking and session has not yet occurred.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled session: no refund or credit (counsellor's time has been reserved).
  • No-show without notice: no refund.

If TalentGro Cancels or Reschedules — You will be offered: (a) a rescheduled session at your convenience, or (b) a full refund within 7 business days.

HPPC Assessment + Counselling Packages — Refundable only before the assessment has been initiated. Once the assessment process begins, the package is non-refundable.

Vocational and Certification Programmes

Full Refund — Available within 7 days of enrollment and before the first class/session is attended.

No Refund — After the first class/session has been attended, after the certification exam has been attempted, or after the certificate has been issued.

Programme Discontinuation by TalentGro — In the rare event that TalentGro discontinues a vocational programme after you have enrolled, a pro-rata refund for the unused portion will be processed within 14 business days, with 30 days' advance notice wherever possible.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Payment processing fees (charged by Razorpay at checkout, typically 2–3% of the transaction)
  • GST paid — Tax invoices are issued upon payment; GST amounts cannot be reversed once an invoice is generated
  • Batch transfer fees
  • Downloaded or delivered digital content — including PDF reports, certificates, and assessment outputs that have already been generated and made available
  • Completed one-on-one sessions — sessions that have been fully conducted
  • Completed assessments — HPPC, Personality Report, or Strength Finder assessments that have been initiated or completed

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request:

  1. Email [email protected] (or use the support chat on the Platform) with the subject line: Refund Request — [Your Order ID].
  2. Include: your registered email address, order ID (found in your purchase confirmation email), programme name, date of purchase, and reason for the refund request.
  3. Our support team will acknowledge your request within 48 hours (business days).
  4. If approved, TalentGro will initiate the refund within 5–7 business days of approval.
  5. The credit will appear in your original payment account within 7–10 business days after initiation, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Refund to Original Payment Method Only — As per RBI guidelines, refunds are processed exclusively to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot issue refunds to a different card, bank account, or UPI ID.

Payment Processing and Timelines

All payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. Once TalentGro initiates a refund:

  • Credit/Debit Cards — 5–10 business days (varies by issuing bank)
  • UPI / Net Banking — 3–5 business days
  • Razorpay Wallet — 1–3 business days

TalentGro is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider after we have initiated the refund. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days of our initiation notice, please contact your bank first, then escalate to us.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with a service, please contact our support team before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving legitimate concerns promptly.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting TalentGro and allowing us to resolve the issue may result in:

  • Suspension of your TalentGro account pending investigation
  • TalentGro providing evidence of service delivery to your bank
  • In cases of fraudulent chargebacks, referral to appropriate legal authorities

Where a chargeback is resolved in your favour by your bank, TalentGro will not pursue recovery if the underlying concern was legitimate.

Force Majeure and Extraordinary Circumstances

In the event that TalentGro is unable to deliver a committed service due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, government orders, pandemic-related restrictions, prolonged internet outages, or regulatory changes — we will offer one of the following:

  • A rescheduled delivery at the earliest practicable time, or
  • A full refund for the undelivered service

TalentGro will communicate such situations transparently and without undue delay.

Escalation and Consumer Rights

If your refund request is not resolved satisfactorily through our support team, you may escalate as follows:

  1. Grievance Officer — Contact our Grievance Officer (see below). We will endeavour to resolve within 30 days.
  2. Consumer Forum — You may file a complaint with the appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019: District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (for claims up to ₹50 lakh), State Commission (up to ₹2 crore), or the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (above ₹2 crore).
  3. Online Consumer Portal — You may also file at consumerhelpline.gov.in (National Consumer Helpline: 1800-11-4000).
